Any graduate or undergraduate students who are first author on a behavioral gerontology, aging-related talk or poster are invited to submit their presentations for consideration. A panel of experts in the field of behavioral gerontology are recruited each year prior to the ABAI annual conference to serve as judges. The winner of the award is acknowledged during the conference and on the BG-SIG website. In addition, the winner is given a monetary award of $50.
